CONSUMER LENDING

The Firm has developed an expertise in consumer law from the creditor's perspective, such as preparing agreements for the purchase and sale of dealer paper between automobile dealers and financial institutions, as well as dealing with the problems that arise with consumers under the terms of vehicle installment contracts.

The Firm is familiar with the multitude of issues that arise for lenders under the Texas Finance Code. Usury is a frequent problem for lenders, but other issues ranging from single interest insurance to the permissibility of various fees are also major concerns to the Firm's creditor clients.
